Fachexkursion Frankfurt - 10c

On 15th October 2018, our class went on a field trip to Frankfurt. We took a train early in the morning and arrived at our youth hostel at lunchtime.

After lunch, we visited the city centre with its sights. At 3 o’clock we went directly to the Senckenberg Museum of natural history. There we were divided into three groups and guided through the exhibition, which contains many fossils. After that, we had some free time and moved around the city in groups of three or more. Some of us visited Frankfurt Cathedral and enjoyed the view from its tower for a very small fee. After dinner at our hostel we all went back to the city centre to watch a movie.

The next morning, we went to the English Theatre Frankfurt for a workshop. Two American pedagogues guided us through three hours of improv theatre. We could give free rein to our creativity and it actually was a lot of fun, especially when it came to the proper acting. After the workshop, we immediately went to a laser tag venue. Even our teachers played along. After dinner, our whole class went to the banks of the Main.

On our last day in Frankfurt, we visited the Main Tower, which is 200 metres high. We took some photos and after three nice days we went to the train station to return home.

Unfortunately, this was our last trip as a class. Last but not least, we would like to thank Ms Pinkle and Mr Windhausen for accompanying us.
